We miss this culture in Egypt.
Everyone of us must realize that he is a taxes payer. Thus he has his own share in the country: The place, the policy, the services, …etc
As a taxes payer, I have a share in the street. You have the right to park your car in any parking area. A Parking area is an area with no "No Parking" signs. In Egypt you will find the stores owners using plants, barrells, metallic column, ..etc to occupy the street in front of their stores!!!!!
Mysellf I resist, because I know my right as a taxes payer. I remove the barell and park my car notifying them that I am a taxes payer. I remember that day when I asked the man near my house asking me not to park my wife's car there if he pays taxes or not. The man colour turns into yellow (He probably thought that i work for the taxes authorities) and after long hesitation and after I repeated the questions he said "NO". I replyed that I pay taxes and I'll park the car here.
You used not to ask for our rights as taxes payers. This is a huge mistake, not only for ourselves, but for our families.
We MUST all understand that we are TAXES PAYERS
